We focus on producers that should be readily available in the Swedish market place, but up until we began were not. Our portfolio focuses on South African wine producers who make honest premium wines with both character and soul. Winemakers that push the boundaries, challenge the norms and are positively contributing to the South African wine industry. Over the past nearly three decades, following Nelson Mandela’s release from prison and South Africa becoming a truly free and democratic country (1994), the wine industry has experienced a renaissance particularly in the premium sector. Despite the consistent and significant challenges a small, but growing, band of producers have elevated the quality and reputation of South African wine both locally and globally. Our producers all form part of this group and each take their role seriously; wines made in the vineyard, not the cellar, with minimal intervention, sustainability and no additives at the core of their values.
